This makes sense, why would the pilot maneuver the plane in zig zag fashion and remain in flight for 5 hours just to crash it into the ocean ?

Those pilots and those Iranians are behind it. they are probably going to refit the airliner to carry a Pakistani nuclear bomb and hit the USA in Afghanistan, Diego Garcia, or like the general surmised an aircraft carrier.

Now mind you, this general is not some whacko, this is a person who would have an overall knowledge of Pakistan and terrorism in the region.

The Taliban is stupid, dragging China and Malaysia into this. Hopefully, the Chinese will show the Taliban that 1 billion Chinese soldiers with AK47's cannot be wrong. Maybe the Chinese will show Pakistan what a hydrogen bomb can do ?

The US in particular has been very coy and silent about this whole affair, which you would have to conclude that they are part of it. With all the top notch radar and survaliance , they know everything about everything that happens in the World .. Watch for fαℓѕє fℓαg somewhere. No body talks about the secret base they have in that area ,, Google Garcia Diego to get a full specturlar of photos of that Island. I would put my money that plane landed there and is undercover and being dismantled. The cargo was the big thing.

They say "Litiaum Batteries". Something bigger was in that cargo, that they had to get to the Island for future use. As far as the people , Poor souls were probably done away with , as was the case of those on the supposedly plane that hit the pentagon. A diabolical situation all around. Not right away , but watch for something big to take place, probably here in the US again.

That's my take on the whole thing.

A minor point, but this would also explain why family members who called the cell phones of those onboard reported that the phones were ringing. And wasn't this occurring even days after the disappearance?

If it is in Pakistan then how did it get to the southern part of the Indian Ocean?
