If you live near a military base have you noticed an increase in activity, exercises, or troop and equipment movements in the past week?

Yes, I live in between 3 and no I haven't noticed any increased activity.

Security went up in our area and there were calls asking if people have dependents in a certain area.

I am quite near several military bases (HMNB Devonport, HMS Raleigh and Okehampton camp) and I have noticed more military aircraft flying over than usual.

I live in Central Minnesota. This past week a large Military Helicopter flew very low over our house.

Many military planes and helicopters, especially today, have been noted by many in the area. We, too, have been wondering what is going on.

Ever since Jade Helm last year, my home as stood witness to military aircraft flying over every single night always in between 10pm and 2am. We confirmed it was military because we would see them in the day too. Blackhawks and planes of an unknown class, mainly. Today we saw two low flying blackhawks fly over at noon or thereabouts.

Last evening another helicopter was flying low over my house. A little while later I still hear a helicopter. I looked across the field to see it flying relatively low over the next housing development. Not long after I went to bed 1 1/2 hours later, a helicopter flew fairly low over my house once again.

The brunt of the Chastisement is almost here.

I apologize. By mistake, I clicked on "dislike" instead of "quote." I don't know how to undo the dislike.

I, too, attribute it to Jade Helm. I also attribute to Jade Helm the sudden increase in crime in our area. We live in a small city which shouldn't even be called a "city" - "small town" would be a more appropriate description. Anyway, we are not used to thugs. They've shipped them up here from somewhere along with drug cartels that are moving into, and destroying, nice neighborhoods.

Yesterday I read on our local police activity blog someone asking "what's up with all the military helicopters flying around the past month?"
