Yesterday, September 2, UGCC priest Bohdan Kostetsky from Yevpatoria (Crimea) with a group of parishioners (15 people) went to Yalta and communication with them was lost.
Late in the evening Father Bogdan called another UGCC priest, Father Mykola Hawryluk, and said that they were detained and they are in some basement. His interrogation was to take place at 2:30 a.m.
His wife, who is in Yalta, doesnt know where Fr. Bohdan is.
As Father Mykola told RISU, after the Russian annexation of Crimea, the UGCC priest for some time left the peninsula, but at the end of April Fr. Bohdan returned to his parish. Since then, he always felt that he was being watched. Several times he was summoned to talk to the department of the FSB (Russian Federal Security bureau). Among other things, he was asked about his thoughts about Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky.
We do not know the reason of the detention.
Around 11 a.m., RISU was informed that the priest was released. The reason of detention is not given.

A Catholic parish in Crimea will lose its priest in October, because the Russian government has not renewed the residency permit of the Polish-born pastor.
Father Piotr Rosochacki will be required to leave Crimea on October 25, the Forum 18 news service reports. Having served in the parish in Simferopol for five years, he had expected to have his permit extended without difficulty. But following the Russian takeover of Crimea, policies have change dramatically. The quick renewal of residency permits "was under Ukrainian law," a Russian government official observed. "Now we are a different country."
There are 12 Roman Catholic priests currently serving in Crimea: eight Polish and four Ukrainian. Eventually all these priests will face the same problem as their permits expire.

All Catholic priests in the Crimea will be forced to leave by the end of 2014 under new rules established by the Russian government, the Forum 18 news service reports.
Since Russia assumed control of Crimea, authorities have enforced Russian laws that require religious communities to register for formal approval. To date, Forum 18 has found, no religious communities in the region have been registered.
Because only formally registered communities are allowed to have ministers from other countries, Catholic priests and religious from neighboring countries will be required to leave.
When questioned by Forum 18 about the difficulties these rules would cause for Catholic (and other) communities in Crimea, a Russian immigration official replied: “I don’t know. It’s not my problem.”

But it seems this is a sub-plan of a higher conspiracy:

Wasn't Fascism something else that was invented by Mussolini? From what I've heard:
*Fascism is the combination of state and corporate power to control people.
*Socialism is more state control of production and absence of private corporation/industry. The state administers welfare services.
*Communism is a religion of its own, ideology or philosophy that believes morality comes from the "sentient" part of human evolution and that using socialism is going to take it down "the right path" to make their "Heaven on Earth"(Communism) willingly possible one day. Notice how they sometimes use the term "Sacred War" or "Holy War"?
In the world of "modern or enlightenment era" philosophy. Communism and Social-Darwinism are opposites. nαzιsm is believed to follow social-darwinism while communism is believed to be anti-"survival of the fittest" and "protect the weak".

As Dostoyevsky points out in his novel The Idiot, "Roman Catholicism is more dangerous than atheism, since it presents to us a profane and desecrated Christ usurping the earthly throne," the Pope took the sword and added, "lies, intrigue, deception, fanaticism, and villainy." Such is the depth of understanding that proceeds from the talented pen of Dostoyevsky. Catholicism is dangerous precisely because it offers a counterfeit Christ.

A Catholic convent in the Crimean capital city of Simferopol has been closed, after the three sister who lived there were denied extensions of their residence permits, the Forum 18 news service reports.
The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary had worked with the poor in Simferopol for 18 years. But the sisters living in the convent were natives of Poland or Ukraine, and after the Russian takeover of the Crimea, authorities have declined to renew their residence permits.
Operating under Russian law, Crimean officials now require that religious communities be formally registered with the state in order to qualify for admission of foreign-born pastoral workers. No religious organization in Crimea has been granted official registration.
