Russia gave Crimea independence in 1991. In 1992 Crimea had it's own constitution and it's own president.
In 1995 the parliament of the Ukraine intervened and scrapped the Crimean constitution and removed the President of Crimea.

Crimea has every right to regain it's independence.

Russia has a legal military base with 16000 troops, and capacity for 25000, in Crimea.
The Ukraine has experienced a coup by, western backed, armed neo-fascists.
Russia has every right to protect the Crimean people who's population is 60% Russian.
Especially as Crimea asked for this.

There is a lot more to this issue then what is presented in the Western media.
The USA loves to save people by blowing the sh*t out of them, then raping their resources through USA based corporations.

How many times must this pattern be repeated before the world shouts ENOUGH!

As a "constitutionalist" you should be more worried about the USA who have been in several
unconstitutional wars, "justified" by outright lies, then using inaccurate concepts about the Ukraine
to push your views regarding constitutions.

Americans have not experienced political leadership or an independent media for such a long time that they will be amazed at the straightforward answers from the Russian President and by media asking real questions, some of which show the influence of Washington’s propaganda.

Americans will also be struck by how greatly the facts of the Ukraine situation diverge from the constant stream of lies that flow from Washington, its European puppets, and presstitute media.

Putin’s calm leadership, the absence of provocative statements and threats, and his insistence on legality and will of the people stand in stark contrast to the West’s threats and support for violent overthrow of a democratically elected government. It is astonishing that the only leadership the world has comes from Russia, China, and three or four countries in South America. The Western world no longer has diplomatic capability. Instead, the Western world relies on propaganda, threats, force, and schemes to overthrow governments that it first demonizes.

Notice that Putin repeatedly asks why the West created the crisis in Ukraine. He makes the important point that in post-Soviet countries, legality and democracy are fragile. Democracy and legality are not furthered by overthrowing democracy before it has taken roots and placing in office an unelected government by force and illegality. It is impossible to argue with this point. Why, indeed, did the West murder democracy and constitutional order in Ukraine?

The fact that Putin asks the question does not mean he does not know the answer. He does not give the answer, because he is a diplomat and still has some hope for common sense and good will to prevail. He knows that the West supported the overthrow of the Ukrainian government as part of its strategic thrust against the sovereignty and independence of Russia. Aligning Ukraine with NATO means US missile bases in Ukraine. Remember how terrified Americans were of Soviet missile bases in Cuba.

Putin knows that Washington in pursuit of world hegemony is driving the world to a dangerous war in which neither side can accept defeat. Thus, nuclear weapons would be unleashed. Putin knows that the reason Washington withdrew from the anti-ballistic missile treaty and installed anti-ballistic missiles in Poland is to degrade Russia’s nuclear deterrent. Putin knows that the reason Washington changed its war doctrine to permit preemptive nuclear attack is to carry out a first strike against Russia.

Putin also knows that only Europe can prevent this final devastation. Therefore, Putin does not make provocative statements or take strong actions. He hopes that Europe will notice his reasonable behavior in contrast with the reckless behavior of Washington and realize that Europe and NATO must cease enabling Washington’s pursuit of hegemony, a pursuit that is driving the world to its destruction. Putin hopes that Europeans’ sense of self-preservation will prevail over their lust for Washington’s money and invitations to dinner at the White House.

By taking this humane and rational approach, Putin has established himself as the true leader of the world. Washington counters Putin’s leadership with demonization. Putin’s leadership frustrates Washington and makes Putin a candidate for assassination.

With the present Ukrainian crisis, the Russians are looking like a foe that could pose a real military threat to the United States. The forces of war are lining up in Ukraine. However, there is not much that is spontaneous about this event. Both sides are playing out a prepared script written by the banksters.
The Russian Threat

Some people mistakenly believe that Putin is going to single handedly defeat the bankers and save America from the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. Nothing could be further from the truth. Putin, Obama, Ukrainian government, Crimea and NATO are right on cue as each party plays out its script in preplanned scenario.

Ask yourself a question. Why would the Russians be posturing to fight the the US over, first Syria, and then Ukraine, while at the same time be building up their troops on US soil? Didn’t Secretary of Defense Hagel announce on March 5th that the US was breaking off military cooperation with the Russians over the events in Ukraine? Then why would Hagel, on behalf of Obama, announce that we were reducing our military to pre-1940 levels in the midst of a crisis which could turn into World War III? Are we looking at gross incompetency, or are we looking at abject treason by deliberately compromising the military strength of the US? The following paragraphs make it clear that we are looking at treason emanating from the Obama administration. And to those of you who admire the new “Christian” on the block, President Putin, you may get to know him very well in the near future.
The Order of Events That Will Follow

The answer to this question of what is coming is quite simple. World War III will be preceded by a series of fαℓѕє fℓαg events which will be followed by the brutal implementation of martial law. The martial law will be enforced by foreign troops, the Russians and the Chinese. Below is a brief synopsis of the proof that I have previously offered, complete with references in previous articles.
Martial Law/cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρ Docuмent

The most telling set of events which indicate that Americans will soon be under martial law consist of the NDAA and Executive Order 13603 which does away with all due process and literally provides for the enslavement of American citizens. If this legislation is new to you, Google these docuмents and be prepared to be shocked. However, these aforementioned docuмents are not the most damning.

A short time ago, the awake people in this country were shocked with the revelation of new martial law docuмentation, FM 3-39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations (PDF). which detailed that massive creation of FEMA camps which would soon house untold millions of American citizens

What lies below is more proof that it is will be foreign troops killing American citizens in these camps, not American soldiers who cannot be counted on to violate their oath to the Constitution.

Foreign Confinement Officer Training Program

Training U.S. Trainers

N-43. Soldiers and Marines who are assigned training missions receive a course of preparation to deal with the specific requirements of developing the target HN confinement officers (i.e. foreign detention officers). The course should emphasize the cultural background of the HN, introduce its language (to include specific confinement-related terms and phrases) and provide insights into cultural tips for developing a good rapport with HN personnel.

The following paragraph makes is abundantly clear what role the Russians will play in the new detention camps. They are going to be in complete control of these camps.

Training Methods
N-48. Training programs are designed to prepare HN personnel to eventually train themselves. Indigenous trainers are the best trainers and should be used to the maximum extent possible.

Fort Carson, Colorado

Let’s not forget that Russian troops stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, practiced retaking the Denver International Airport from domestic terrorists in a widely publicized activity. Who would these domestic terrorists be? They would be none other than members of the American military who are not going along with the plan. This also explains why Obama has felt compelled to fire 260+ senior military command officers because he cannot get the bulk of our military leadership to turn on the American people.
Obama Compromises America’s Defenses

The F-22 coastal surveillance flights over the Alaska/Russian border, were suspended by this administration because of “oxygen uptake” problems for the pilots which was causing them to blackout. That may, or may not be true, however, what is true is that nothing replaced these surveillance flights. The F-16′s could have easily performed the same task. This increased the opening of the backdoor to Alaska for a Russian military incursion should the present crisis in Ukraine turn violent.

People such as Amanda Mitchell repeatedly sent me accounts of Russian soldiers in Ketchikan, AK. I also received over two dozen emails from Juneau and some reports from the northern regions of the state in which Russians were training with their heavy equipment.

I have received repeated email communications from a former law enforcement official who does business on a local base in which he delivers product, near Victorville, CA., in which he has repeatedly witnessed Russians training with their own tanks on American base.

As I indicated in earlier paragraphs, there are Russians on the base at Fort Carson, Colorado and they have been repeatedly photographed.

I have also detailed how Obama gave Putin seven oil rich Islands that formerly belonged to Alaska. Some of these same Islands are ideal locations from which to launch an invasion of Alaska. I believe that thisis precisely what will happen if NATO military opposes Putin in Ukraine.

Don’t forget about the good work of Sherrie Wilcox who has both uncovered hundreds of thousands of FEMA coffins outside of Atlanta as well as photographed Russian soldiers training inside of DHS vehicles in Western Kentucky.

There have also been many of the good people in Gatlinburg, TN., such as Dr. Susan Helman who have detailed the presence of Russian soldiers in their town. The presence and purpose of using the nearby Smokey Mountains as a staging area for Russian commandos has been confirmed by ex-Green Beret and military intelligence officer, John Moore. According to Moore, it is likely that these Russian commandos are being trained to take down a city’s infrastructure which could be accomplished with just two six man teams. And we now know that there are literally dozens of Gatlinburg’s across America.
The Voice of Russia

As I got too close to the truth, the Russian media even tried to bring me into their sphere of control on the radio show, the state-sponsored Voice of Russia and tried to discredit me.

Shakespeare once warned us to not believe people who are protesting too loudly. Last fall, after I began receiving some notoriety for reporting on martial law legislation involving the United States (i.e. NDAA, Executive Order 13603, etc.), I was contacted by Russian propagandists at the Voice of Russia in which they wanted to interview me on the topic. Not coincidentally, I was publicly stating that the Russians were going to be at the vanguard of a martial law contingency which would brutally subjugate the American people against any and all that would resist the takedown of this country and the installation of the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr.

The Russians interviewed me on these issues and they proceeded to misrepresent and minimize my professional credentials. And despite the fact that during the interview, I docuмented all claims with fact-based references, the show synopsis referred to me as an “extremist:” and again misrepresented my professional credentials. By the way, the order to interview me, must have come down from Russian High Command. They contacted me at 10pm, local time, to interview with them at 5 AM the next morning .

The interview was intent on discrediting any intention on the part of this administration to implement martial law. And the Russians were intent on discrediting this notion because they are going to be leading the implementation of martial law. Shakespeare was right about protesting too loudly.

Don’t forget about the microphone incident in which Obama told Medvedev to tell Putin that he will “have much more flexibility after he is re-elected”.

Of course, there is the FEMA Bilateral agreement with the Russian military and FEMA to bring 15,000 Russian soldiers to the US to participate in disaster training. I would indeed call a FEMA camp “disaster training”.

Don’t forget, that we have invited the Russians to participate in the upcoming RIMPAC war games which were designed to prepare to fight against Russian military strategies. And the Russians were allowed to observe our GridEX II drills in which showed them how to take down the power grid. This is unmitigated treason.
Conclusion

We would have to be dumber than a box of rocks to believe that Putin is championing an effort to overthrow the banksters. On one hand, he is preparing to fight banker hijacked government of the United States over Ukraine and on the other hand, his troops are training to enforce martial law in the United States. It does not make sense unless one considers the following chain of planned events:

1. fαℓѕє fℓαg attack designed to place the American people in vulnerable position.

2. The implementation of martial law designed to eliminate all opposition to the installation of a NWO government with complete autocratic rule. Any opposition to the coming World War III will be eliminated.

3. World War III will commence according to script and will devastate this planet so that the bankers can create a new order out of chaos.

Putin and Obama are playing out a script prepared by the banksters.

I have live in both countries, more Russia than Ukraine. I've visited Crimea.

Nobody here is going to understand the complex soup that is their politics or the Slavic mindset.

The term neo-nαzιs is meaningless. In as much as they are nothing like the neo-nαzιs in America, or Britain or France. They are basically just violent thugs who have joined a group where they can do violence to another group because they have failed at everything else in life, and live in a crappy krushatki apartment with moldy wallpaper from the 1970s.

They could not coherently explain their ideology.

A huge part of this is that those regions are horribly corrupt and the Slavs are fatalistic at levels that almost rival the Muslims. They are not in any meaningful sense Europeans and they don't rationalise or think in the same way as a Brit or French of German. They are semi asiatic in their thinking.

It's like a brit going into the Appalachian mountains and trying to make sense of a blood feud between multiple families of hillbillies. It does not really make sense from an outsider's perspective.

We would be best off staying out of it and just dealing with the winner of whatever sh!tfight is about to start.

Yes, one would think that would be the proper course of action in this situation, but the U.S. being the planetary busybody and miss know it all these days just can't help herself and feels the need to tell everyone else what's goof for them.

A Russian Internet news site Iskra (“Spark”) based in Zaporozhye, eastern Ukraine, reported on March 7, that “Ukraine’s gold reserves had been hastily airlifted to the United States from Borispol Airport east of Kiev”.

This alleged airlift and confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves by the New York Federal Reserve has not been confirmed by the Western media.

According to Iskra News:

At 2 a.m. this morning [March 7] an unmarked transport plane was on the runway at Borispol Airport (right) [east of Kiev]. According to airport staff, before the plane came to the airport, four trucks and two Volkswagen minibuses arrived, all the truck license plates missing.

Fifteen people in black uniforms, masks, and body armor stepped out, some armed with machine guns. They loaded the plane with more than 40 heavy boxes.

After that a mysterious man arrived and entered the plane.

All loading was done in a hurry.

The plane took off on an emergency basis.

Those who saw this mysterious special operation immediately notified the airport officials, who told the callers not to meddle in other people’s affairs.

Following this disclosure, GATA’s Secretary Treasurer Chris Powell requested the New Federal Reserve and the US State Department to indicate whether the NY Fed had “taken custody” of Ukraine’s Gold.

While the unconfirmed report regarding Ukraine’s gold reserves has not been the object of coverage by the mainstream financial news, the story was nonetheless picked up by the Shanghai Metals Market at Metal.com. which states, quoting a report from the Ukrainian government, that Ukraine’s gold reserves had been “moved on an aircraft from … Kiev to the United States… in 40 sealed boxes” loaded on an unidentified aircraft.

The unconfirmed source quoted by Metal.com, says that the operation to airlift Ukraine’s gold had been ordered by the acting Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk with a view to safe-keeping Ukraine’s gold reserves at the NY Fed, against a possible Russian invasion which could lead to the confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves.

On March 10, kingworldnews, a prominent online financial blog site published an incisive interview with William Kaye, a Hong Kong based hedge fund manager at Pacific Group Ltd. who had previously worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions. ‎

The Spoils of War and Regime Change

Of significance in this interview with William Kaye is the analogy between Ukraine, Iraq and Libya. Lest we forget, both Iraq and Libya had their gold reserves confiscated by the US. According to Kaye, the destination was the New York Fed.

The National Bank of Ukraine (Central Bank) estimated Ukraine’s gold reserves in February to be worth 1.8 billion dollars. A Russian Internet news site Iskra (“Spark”) based in Zaporozhye, eastern Ukraine, reported on March 7, that “Ukraine’s gold reserves had been hastily airlifted to the United States from Borispol Airport east of Kiev”.

This alleged airlift and confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves by the New York Federal Reserve has not been confirmed by the Western media.

According to Iskra News:

At 2 a.m. this morning [March 7] an unmarked transport plane was on the runway at Borispol Airport (right) [east of Kiev]. According to airport staff, before the plane came to the airport, four trucks and two Volkswagen minibuses arrived, all the truck license plates missing.

Fifteen people in black uniforms, masks, and body armor stepped out, some armed with machine guns. They loaded the plane with more than 40 heavy boxes.

After that a mysterious man arrived and entered the plane.

All loading was done in a hurry.

The plane took off on an emergency basis.

Those who saw this mysterious special operation immediately notified the airport officials, who told the callers not to meddle in other people’s affairs.

Following this disclosure, GATA’s Secretary Treasurer Chris Powell requested the New Federal Reserve and the US State Department to indicate whether the NY Fed had “taken custody” of Ukraine’s Gold.

A spokesman for the New York Fed said simply: “Any inquiry regarding gold accounts should be directed to the account holder. You may want to contact the National Bank of Ukraine to discuss this report.”

GATA’s similar inquiry of last night to the U.S. State Department has not yet prompted any reply.

Last night GATA called this issue to the attention of about 30 mainstream financial journalists and newsletter writers in the admittedly bizarre hope that they might pose the question as well.

1) The first rule of mainstream financial journalism and particularly financial journalism about gold is never to put a specific critical question about the monetary metal to any of the primary participants in the gold market, central banks. While the unconfirmed report regarding Ukraine’s gold reserves has not been the object of coverage by the mainstream financial news, the story was nonetheless picked up by the Shanghai Metals Market at Metal.com. which states, quoting a report from the Ukrainian government, that Ukraine’s gold reserves had been “moved on an aircraft from … Kiev to the United States… in 40 sealed boxes” loaded on an unidentified aircraft.

The unconfirmed source quoted by Metal.com, says that the operation to airlift Ukraine’s gold had been ordered by the acting Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk with a view to safe-keeping Ukraine’s gold reserves at the NY Fed, against a possible Russian invasion which could lead to the confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves.

On March 10, kingworldnews, a prominent online financial blog site published an incisive interview with William Kaye, a Hong Kong based hedge fund manager at Pacific Group Ltd. who had previously worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions. ‎

Of significance in this interview with William Kaye is the analogy between Ukraine, Iraq and Libya. Lest we forget, both Iraq and Libya had their gold reserves confiscated by the US. According to Kaye, the destination was the New York Fed.

The National Bank of Ukraine (Central Bank) estimated Ukraine’s gold reserves in February to be worth 1.8 billion dollars. UPDATE 1: Malaysia Air Flight 370 Facts of the Flight and 10 Possible Scenarios

Here is the #MH370 situation update. I will try to update this article as conditions change.

Let us first start with the basics. The statistics as initially reported are incorrect. Here are the stats for the flight.

The ADS-B transponder of an aircraft is transmitting data twice per second. FR24 saves data every 10-60 seconds depending on altitude. Data is normally saved once per 60 seconds. By analyzing all our databases and logs, we have managed to recover about 2 signals per minute for the last 10 minutes.

Time UTC: 17:21
Lat: 6.97
Lon: 103.63
Alt: 35000
Speed: 471 knots
Heading: 40

This is less than one hour of flight, which is contrary to the reported duration of around 2 hours. This flight only lasted 38-40 minutes on radar. Coincidence: Pan Am Flight 103 was in the air 38 minutes.

Between 17:19 and 17:20 the aircraft was changing heading from 25 to 40 degrees, which is completely according to flight plan. Previous flights of MH370 on both 4 March and 8 March did the same at the same position. The last 2 signals are both showing that the aircraft is heading in direction 40 degrees.
We have heard reports in media that MH370 may have turned around. I have not seen this in the evidence from the tracking database. This could have happened if the aircraft suddenly lost altitude, as FR24 database coverage in that area is limited to about 29,000 feet.

There were no emergency squawk alerts for flight MH370 before coverage was lost of the aircraft. Playback for flight MH370 is available on the following page.

Most recently investigators have moved the search area to the Indian Ocean. This move is based upon two clues.

An unidentified military radar contact passing west over Kota Baru Malaysia to the Malacca Strait.

(Here is my issue with this report. An unidentified aircraft entering the Malaysian Air Defence Zone would set off a set of actions which include sending up military fighters to intercept the aircraft. No such action was taken.

Pings received from Rolls Royce engines. The pings supply no data, only 4 pings to the satellites each about one hour apart, indicating that a set of Rolls Royce engines were operating in the Indian Ocean.

(There were 3 aircraft flying in the NW route at the time that pings were received. It is very possible any of these Aircraft were operating Rolls Royce engines.)

It is apparent that a huge radar “blind spot” that did not previously exist has occurred in the area. This Radar interference caused several aircraft to leave the radar screen in a 1 hour period — only one did not return on radar.
We are evaluating this information. There are several scenarios. Pandora, by Grumman Northrop Technologies can interfere with long distance tracking of aircraft, thus creating large areas where the transponders are unable to effectively communicate, and radar signals are blocked. The larger version of Pandora is found on AWACS Aircraft and is available to many governments.
Some of the possible causes for the plane disappearing include:

A CATASTROPHIC STRUCTURA/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICALL FAILURE
Most aircraft are made of aluminum, which is susceptible to corrosion over time, especially in areas of high humidity. Given the plane’s long history and impressive safety record, experts suggest that a failure of the air frame, or the plane’s Rolls-Royce Trent 800 engines, is unlikely.

More of a threat to the plane’s integrity is the constant pressurization and depressurization of the cabin for takeoff and landing. In April 2011, a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from Phoenix after the plane’s fuselage ruptured, causing a 5-foot tear. The plane, with 118 people on board, landed safely. But such a rupture is less likely in this case. Airlines fly the 777 on longer distances, with many fewer takeoffs and landings, putting less stress on the air frame.

Taking into account the possibility of a massive electrical failure, one would think that it would have taken the Auto Pilot offline also causing uncontrollable flight and a dive or stalling attitude. This is negated by the reort of Radar Concact 1 hour later over Malaysia heading WNW.

“It’s not like this was Southwest Airlines doing 10 flights a day,” Hamilton said. ”There’s nothing to suggest there would be any fatigue issues.”

BAD WEATHER

Planes are designed to fly through most severe storms. However, in June 2009, an Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris crashed during a bad storm over the Atlantic Ocean. Ice built up on the Airbus A330′s airspeed indicators, giving false readings. That, and bad decisions by the pilots, led the plane into a stall causing it to plummet into the sea. All 228 passengers and crew aboard died. The pilots never radioed for help.
In the case of Saturday’s Malaysia Airlines flight, all indications show that there were clear skies.

PILOT DISORIENTATION

Curtis said that the pilots could have taken the plane off autopilot and somehow gone off course and didn’t realize it until it was too late. The plane could have flown for another five or six hours from its point of last contact, putting it up to 3,000 miles away. This is unlikely given that the plane probably would have been picked up by radar somewhere. But it’s too early to eliminate it as a possibility.

FAILURE OF BOTH ENGINES

In January 2008, a British Airways 777 crashed about 1,000 feet short of the runway at London’s Heathrow Airport. As the plane was coming in to land, the engines lost thrust because of ice buildup in the fuel system. There were no fatalities.

Loss of both engines is possible in this case, but Hamilton said the plane could glide for up to 20 minutes, giving pilots plenty of time to make an emergency call. When a US Airways A320 lost both of its engines in January 2009 after taking off from LaGuardia Airport in New York, it was at a much lower elevation. But Capt. Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger still had plenty of communications with air traffic controllers before ending the six-minute flight in the Hudson River.

Even with engine loss, there would have been communications. Unlikely scenario.

A BOMB

Several planes have been brought down, including Pan Am Flight 103 between London and New York in December 1988. There was also an Air India flight in June 1985 between Montreal and London, and a plane in September 1989 flown by French airline Union des Transports Aériens which blew up over the Sahara. Good possibility given the circuмstances, however no debris field tends to negate this for now.

HIJACKING/COMMANDEERING

A traditional hijacking seems unlikely given that a plane’s captors typically land at an airport and have some type of demand. But a 9/11-type hijacking is possible, with terrorists forcing the plane into the ocean. In today’s climate, there are other possibilities that include hostage-taking for political motives.
The South China Sea is amuck with terrorists and struggling nations. The Radar abnormalities could indicate some advanced operation to take an aircraft from under the nose of controllers. In addition to this, it is a possibility that the aircraft was commandeered for use as a negotiating tool or warning.

PILOT ѕυιcιdє

There were two large jet crashes in the late 1990s — a Silk Air flight and an Egypt Air flight — that are believed to have been caused by pilots deliberately crashing the planes. Government crash investigators never formally declared the crashes ѕυιcιdєs, but both are widely acknowledged by crash experts to have been caused by deliberate pilot actions.

ACCIDENTAL SHOOT-DOWN

There have been incidents when a country’s military unintentionally shot down civilian aircraft. In July 1988, the United States Navy missile cruiser USS Vincennes accidently shot down an Iran Air flight, killing all 290 passengers and crew. In September 1983, a Korean Air Lines flight was shot down by a Russian fighter jet. Note: Vietnam had just taken delivery of an advanced Russian Black Hole Submarine with Ground to Air missile capability. Normal procedures for the acquisition of such a vessel include a series of training and certification runs.

The zone where Flight 370 was shot down was shallow enough to allow a safety net for secret training exercises. Relatively few aircraft fly the route at the time of the loss of Flt 307. Considering that fact, it would be fruitless to trust in any investigation information coming from Vietnam officials.

DELIBERATE TAKE-DOWN

This differs substantially from any of the previous possible causes. Reasons for an intentional take-down could include intimidating a particular entity to align or fall behind certain politics of a civil or governmental/semi-governmental entity. Powerful organizations exist that will not hesitate at intimidating or assassinating at will.

Passenger Manifest

It is my opinion, that there are far too many irregularities involved in this incident for it to be a simple aviation accident. Absent a debris field, the most likely scenario, in my opinion, is a commandeering. Toward what end remains to be seen.

Flight 370 Vanished Through 'Deliberate Action,' Malaysia's Leader Says
Last Communication Came From One of Two Possible Corridors

Malaysian Airlines Flight 370's transponder and communications were deliberately turned off before it reached the east coast of the Malaysian Peninsula. Mikael Robertsson, co-founder of the flight-tracking website FlightRadar24, tells us how the plane could continue to fly under the radar.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia—Malaysia's prime minister said he believes that "deliberate action" caused the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines 3786.KU +2.13% Flight 370, and authorities are now focusing on two areas in the search for the plane.

In the first definitive comments from the nation's government on how the jet came to vanish March 8, Najib Razak said at a news conference Saturday that data relayed by the plane to a satellite has confirmed it turned from its original course. He added that the last satellite communication from the plane was at 8:11 a.m. Malaysia time, well past the scheduled arrival time in Beijing. It had taken off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 12:41 a.m.

The prime minister's comments appear to corroborate the analysis of U.S. investigators, which determined that one or more people on the plane deliberately changed its course and tried to mask its location.

The routine messages sent by the aircraft show that Flight 370 was still airborne nearly six hours after it disappeared from Malaysian military radar. The Boeing BA +1.00% 777-200 plane with 239 people on board was carrying enough fuel to fly for eight hours, Malaysia Airlines confirmed on Saturday.

Mr. Najib said that while hijacking has been raised as a possibility, "we are still investigating all possibilities as to what caused MH370 to deviate from its original flight path."

Based on the new data, aviation authorities of Malaysia and counterparts in other countries have determined that the plane's last satellite communication came from one of two corridors, Mr. Najib said: a northern one stretching approximately from the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan border to northern Thailand or a southern one stretching approximately from Indonesia to the southern Indian Ocean.

If Flight 370 traveled north, it might have been above Thailand, China, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan at 8.11 a.m., according to the satellite data released by Kuala Lumpur. However, it would have needed to fly through the airspace of several countries to have reached that point, and it is unlikely that it could have done so undetected, especially if it passed close to China or India, both of which have air-defense systems.

The automated message would have revealed the plane's distance from the satellite at 8.11 a.m., but not its precise location, said Mikael Robertsson, co-founder of Flightradar24, a website that uses satellite data to track commercial flights.

Authorities have "refocused" attention onto the crew and passengers, said Mr. Najib. While he said there is a "high degree of certainty" that the plane's two communications systems were disabled, it remains unclear who might have taken that step and whether he or she was acting with others on the flight.

Physically disconnecting communications systems would require detailed knowledge of the aircraft's internal structure and systems, aviation officials said. But a possible motive for such a disconnection remains unclear. Malaysia Airlines confirmed Saturday that Flight 370 wasn't carrying any valuable cargo.

Mr. Najib didn't take questions from the reporters who packed the airport-hotel function room where he spoke.

Search teams have been withdrawn from the South China Sea, the area from which the plane's transponder, which relays identification signals to ground radar, sent its last signal. "Clearly, the search for MH370 has entered a new phase," he said.

As of Saturday, 43 ships and 58 aircraft from 14 countries are involved in the search, the prime minister said.

The latest revelations indicate that the search areas will be significantly expanded, while Vietnam announced it would cease search operations following the prime minister's statement.

On Saturday, the U.S. Navy's Seventh Fleet confirmed that it had spent the day searching the Bay of Bengal far to the northwest of Malaysia. However, it now appears unlikely that Flight 370 could have flown there, given the bay's distance from both corridors highlighted by the prime minister.

A spokesman for the Seventh Fleet said patrol schedules were planned only one day in advance and the U.S. Navy "will not fly to the south" of the Bay of Bengal on Sunday, despite Mr. Najib's statement.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak says investigators are looking at profiles of passengers and crew on Flight 370. The WSJ's Jeffrey Ng tells us where the investigation is headed next.

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country will adjust its search efforts based on the prime minister's statement, but that it was seeking more detailed information from Malaysia.

Beijing, which has deployed eight sea vessels, two aircraft and five helicopters to search in the South China Sea, has repeatedly pressed Malaysia to redouble its efforts, as Chinese officials have come under criticism for inaction from the passengers' family members. "Time is life," the ministry said.

Some of the families of Flight 370 passengers said following the prime minister's remarks that there is hope their loved ones are alive.

A friend of Norli Akmar Hamid of Kuala Lumpur, who was headed to Beijing on her honeymoon, said, "At least we know that she was alive up to 8:11 a.m. on March 8." The friend, who asked not to be identified, added, "Previously, I thought the plane crashed when it was lost from the radar. There is still hope."

A father of a Malaysian aircraft engineer on Flight 370 said he is hopeful, too. "The chances of finding the aircraft was brighter. The situation is clearer," said Selamat Omar, the father of 29-year-old Mohamad Khairul Amri.

Based on new satellite information, investigators suspect the plane's Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, or Acars, was disabled just before the aircraft reached the east coast of Malaysia. Shortly afterward, near the border between Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic control, the transponder was switched off.

The plane then flew west back over Malaysia before turning northwest, Mr. Najib said, citing Royal Malaysian Air Force radar data, now confirmed by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration of the U.S., and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch of the U.K.

To refine the search, investigators are now calculating how far the aircraft could have flown after this last point of contact.

"As the two new corridors involve many countries, the relevant foreign embassies have been invited to a briefing on the new information today by the Malaysian Foreign Ministry and the technical experts," the prime minister said.

Malaysia Airlines has been informing the families of the passengers and crew of the new developments.

Mr. Robertsson, of Flightradar24, said a crash on land rather than into the sea was unlikely because the aircraft's emergency beacon would have automatically flashed its location via satellite or radio. The beacon's signals are less easy to find if an aircraft crashes into the sea.

2) The desecration of the Holy Mass by apostates (at Vatican II - i.e. the Novus Ordo).

The term neo-nαzιs is meaningless. In as much as they are nothing like the neo-nαzιs in America, or Britain or France. They are basically just violent thugs who have joined a group where they can do violence to another group because they have failed at everything else in life, and live in a crappy krushatki apartment with moldy wallpaper from the 1970s.

A huge part of this is that those regions are horribly corrupt and the Slavs are fatalistic at levels that almost rival the Muslims. They are not in any meaningful sense Europeans and they don't rationalise or think in the same way as a Brit or French of German. They are semi asiatic in their thinking.

It's like a brit going into the Appalachian mountains and trying to make sense of a blood feud between multiple families of hillbillies. It does not really make sense from an outsider's perspective.

We would be best off staying out of it and just dealing with the winner of whatever sh!tfight is about to start.

I tend to agree with Ggreg with the exception that we should be aware of the likelihood of a persecution against the Eastern Rite Catholics of the newly russified regions of Crimea and any other area that Russia absorbs.
