The latest video from Dutchsinse is two weeks old, but it did discuss back-to-back earthquakes in Venezuela. 

While he uses a globe for his 3D mapping, his methodology for connecting seismic events and his understanding of earthquake geophysics are the "go to" for me.

No. An area prone to heavy earthquakes combined with shoddy building quality, even worse infrastructure and zero preparedness.

In Venezuela's case, it's more than likely that any major academics and seismologists have emigrated.
