  • Story about it here:

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/lifesite-pioneers-new-faith-based-precious-metals-initiative-tuesday-november-1/?utm_source=top_news&utm_campaign=catholic

I compared their prices on Canadian silver maples, and silver eagles with APMEX (normally APMEX is the lowest price), and they had APMEX handily beat on both counts

    Here's the silver maple comparison:

    APMEX: Best price = $30.46 USD/Oz. (https://www.apmex.com/product/1090/1-oz-canadian-silver-maple-leaf-coin-bu-random-year)

Catholic company best price for the same product:  $27.28 USD/Oz. (https://www.stjosephpartners.com/Silver/BullionCoins/canadian-silver)

    That's 10% cheaper.
    Noblesse oblige.

But still an outrageous 42% premium over today's spot price of $19.24/oz troy.

Our most trustworthy and fair local PM dealer charges 8% fee on gold buy/sell transactions to off-the-street customers and 4% to regular customers (presumably the regulars that they like). They usually charge 12% on silver transactions to regulars, but I have not checked recently with them, since I have been more interested in food and that other precious metal (Pb).

ZeroHedge has posted a couple of articles recently that have mentioned the premium increases on physical PMs. Of course, as libertarians and lovers of all economics Jєωιѕн, they see no problem with the gouging.  Besides, the whole pricing structure is a Jєωιѕн swindle since PM prices are manipulated by the Jєωs' paper creation of metals that they do not have in possession.
