Little known quote from Sister Lucia:

Also, Sister Lucia told Fr. Joachim Maria Alonso, the official historian of Fatima, in a little known response:
    Quote
    Quote
“The final triumph of Mary’s Heart is certain, and it will be definitive. But it will take place ‘in the end,’ that is to say, after a terrible purification of sinful mankind in a baptism of fire, blood and tears”

So, if this is true, the great chastisement first, consecration next, and then the conversion of Russia. Wow!

Have never heard of this EVER! That is a mega BOOM!
I suspect the reason why you and who knows how many other countless individuals have never heard of this before is because it may well be that Sr. Lucia never actually stated these words.  (If she herself said them then as you say they are a "mega BOOM."  We should ask ourselves why that boom has not been heard all over the place, let alone practically nowhere.  It just doesn't make sense.)

The only place I found this quote on the Internet was in the linked article you provided.  The article references it to p. 334 of Mark Fellows book (an absolutely superb book by the way) Fatima in Twilight.  The book does not state that Sr. Lucia actually told this to Fr. Alonso.  What the book (a copy of which I have and which I examined carefully in this matter) does state is simply this: "Fr. Alonso wrote, 'The final triumph of Mary's heart is certain and it will be definitive.  But it will take place 'in the end', that is to say, after a terrible purification of sinful humanity, in a baptism of fire, blood, and tears."

The author Fellows simply does not clarify in the book whether these particular words are those of Fr. Alonso or of Sr. Lucia, nor does he even provide any docuмentation in a footnote or otherwise as to where these precise words can be found.  If the words are actually from Sr. Lucia then we should be able to see where he found them and we should be able to go to that same source to check them out.  Alas, this is simply not provided.

I am not saying that the quoted words are not a true prophecy.  What I am saying is that their link to Sr. Lucia is in no way made clear and distinct in the book and thus it is unfortunate the article presented them in the way you see them in the article.  (The author of the article passed away on 12-24-2017.  See https://www.meaningfulfunerals.net/obituary/prof-remi-amelunxen?fh_id=12016.)

  • I don't know if Sr Lucy said these words, but they do correspond to many other prophecies.  While the prophecies (and I've read many, many of them) never mention Our Lady of Fatima or the consecration specifically, they do describe global events related to different countries and the situation in rome.  It is clear that many of them say that civil unrest/war will break out in France and Italy about the same time.  When this happens, it is a sign of cινιℓ ωαr that will spread over the globe.  At some point the muslims will invade and burn rome to the ground.  The pope will flee, yet eventually he will die, be killed.  At some point, after much chaos, a holy pope will be elected things will start to turn around, though the forces of evil will have to be defeated.

So, just going on the situation in the world today, there's no HUMAN hope that we would have a good pope elected that would consecrate russia.  A chastisement as described above would be needed, in some degree, to overturn the "status quo".

I'm wondering why if Sr. Lucia said this (or even if Fr. Alonso alone said this on his own) Fr. Gruner -- at least as far as I know from following his literature over the years -- never mentioned it.  On the other hand, Fr. Gruner (as far as I know) always seemed to be pushing the idea that the dreaded Chastisement could be prevented if the Consecration was done in time.   Some sort of a disconnect?
