  • I get the feeling that at least half of all Americans would favor an invasion of Liechtenstein if asked.
    Pray for me, always.

  • There was some discussion on WLS radio the other day about the scandal of a Yemeneese firm owning a portion of the parking meter business here in Chicago. Oh the horror of it all! I'm sure some of the Neo-Cons are moved by that outrage to attack. The propaganda never ceases.

I think it is despicable that a city cannot seem to handle the basics of taxing and spending without stealing so much that they have to try and make money back by selling licenses to  their own revenue streams, but that's another story.

Btw, I am a conservative, but a Paleo-Con. There are still a few of us left.

  • Vast majority of Americans, and including my own Family
are mind controlled by the mass media. It does not
matter if you are a red neck in the middle of Mississippi
whom have been brainwashed by his Zionist Baptist
Preacher, to a Harvard Graduate with a wall full of
diplomas, and degrees, whom being politically
correct is a way of life.
This is what modern communications, and media has
done. A few in a newsroom, whom scripts are written
by Zionists, and can be seen all over the world from a
box called a TV can effectively control the agenda, and
influence millions. And anything that does not go along
with the script is labeled extremism, racism, and other
words that were invented to shock people from any
critical thinking.  I saw this in the 1960's, when we had
three networks that spilled that same propaganda. If
you object, or of a contrary opinion, you were
labeled an extremist. This shocked many people
from any opposition that has lead to the conditions
the country, and the world is in today.

  • The Republic of Yemen, located on the Arabian Peninsula in
Southeast Asia. has a population of about 23 million people.
17.5% of the population lives on less than $1.25 US
    Dollars a day.
I would say it would be a War Crime if this country is
    ever attacked.
I did not get this opinion from the mass media because
they believe that more wars is good for business.

Absolutely.  But "trads" will still watch EWTN like it is really Catholic.  Nothing, no nuclear bomb, is as devastating as that TV set.  Fox News was popular also within my former sede group, the CMRI.

When I go out walking the dog at night, I walk on the strand down here by the beach ( aren't you from the South Bay, RomanCatholic? )  Lots of people who live in these huge, plush homes, I've noticed, are now leaving themselves exposed -- you can look right into their houses through plate-glass windows.  It is a supremely eerie feeling to walk past all these houses and see these lonely people staring into giant TV screens that appear to be swooping down from the ceiling like pterodactyls.  House after house after house, nothing but people watching TV.

When you think about what this means, it is scary -- it is their only connection to each other.  It is like the matrix of hell.  Every minute they spend in front of that thing is another lie they're being sold, another mistaken impression of what this world really is, another lost minute to discover why they were put here and to love God.

Many of the houses now have "For Sale" signs.  These late-night walks always give me a desolate feeling.  The once thriving and bustling area I grew up in has lost its glamour and now looks like a pathetic post-apocalyptic ghost town.  And it's only going to get much worse from here.

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • When you see the space program in a movie = Special effects
When you see the space program on a TV = "Reality"

That is the real seduction of TV.  People don't know that it's all scripted, that the news uses special effects, that it is as fictional as a movie.

  • The house I lived in for eight years 1956-1964 in Palos Verdes
Estates, my Dad purchased for $35,000, sold it for $65,000.
I was by there a few years ago, it was up for sale with the
asking price of 2 million dollars. Since that time the housing
bubble has crashed, and the price is down to 1 million dollars
    with no takers so far.
