CALLER: Well, it's all my pleasure. I was talking obviously to Mr. Snerdley earlier, and I told him that I grew up in the Soviet Union, and I came to America about 20 years ago, I am a naturalized proud American citizen. And what I'm seeing right now is just like a bad dream.
RUSH: What is? What are you talking about?
CALLER: Well, what concerns me, Mr. Limbaugh, is that, in my opinion, there's nothing less than essentially a takeover of the country. I've seen all of this before. I've seen the playbook. I actually have a Ph.D. in philosophy, and I started in college and Marxist and Leninist philosophy. And what's happening here, the left is playing by the same book of rules that the Soviet Socialist Republic has lived for nearly 80 years. And very, very few people in this country recognize what's actually taking place.
RUSH: Obviously. Yeah, we hope it's that. We hope that they don't recognize it. After talking to the nice woman from Pensacola, you find out why demagogues are so dangerous. They say what people want to hear. They attack those who people want attacked and so forth. This poor woman is clueless, because she thinks that, you know, Obama has inspired her with all of his talk of utopianism, but in fact clamping down on the very aspects of this country that have made it free. What do you think of that Department of Homeland Security report calling people like you and me right-wing extremists, militia members, and they gotta be on the lookout for our seditious activity?
CALLER: Yeah. Well, Mr. Limbaugh, you mentioned earlier in the show a very, very important point which I don't know how many people appreciate. When you were talking about who actually is behind this, and of course as usual, a hundred percent right. It's Obama and Napolitano basically is someone who is a figurehead. And that also reminded me how, back in the old days the Soviet Union, in the early days when Stalin was around, and my parents had to live through this, there was the same situation where all kinds of atrocities were taking place, people used to talk, and my parents told me that, if only Stalin knew what's happening, if only --
RUSH: Yeah, right.
CALLER: And this is exactly what's happening, people saying, "Well, maybe Obama doesn't --"
RUSH: If only Obama knew. If only Obama knew.
CALLER: (laughing)
RUSH: (laughing) Obama is the driving force.
CALLER: Exactly. You are so right, Mr. Limbaugh. In fact, my personal belief is even Obama is really a figurehead. I don't believe for a second someone of his background and intelligence could mastermind this. There are people behind him kind of like what Bob Dylan said, people without titles. And one more I want to say to you, Mr. Limbaugh. Obviously I don't get such a great opportunity to talk to you. But what you're doing is absolutely astounding. I'm really amazed that someone like you is actually on the air, because when I grew up, I mean obviously someone like you would not even be allowed to talk, forget about the radio, just allowed to talk, you know, to large groups of people.
RUSH: Right, I'd have to go to the bathroom.
CALLER: Right. And the fact that you and a select few like you are still out there, you are like a lighthouse. I don't think people really appreciate the things that you do. I mean, especially in lieu of your phone calls like yesterday. I listen to you every day, and it's like a breath of fresh air, so obviously, you know, there's a lot of people that just don't appreciate the value of what you're doing, and I am personally very concerned about how long it's going to continue, because I've seen this movie before. I know how it works. Everything they do doesn't surprise me. And I am concerned, you know, for how long we'll be able to have a pleasure of someone like you being a torch light for all of us who are here, pulling our hair out.
RUSH: Well, I appreciate you saying that, Victor. You're very kind. You've flattered me beyond reality, and I appreciate it so much. Glad you're out there. I'm not going to go anywhere here, there's nowhere to go. I'm doing what I was born to do, Victor.
CALLER: Thank you, and please, please hang in there. Don't trust any of these whiners who call and complain. You are indispensable for us and I just hope you stay healthy and all that happens to you, Mr. Limbaugh.
