Title: Writings from saints on how to overcome sins of omission?
Post by: Cryptinox on September 08, 2021, 07:54:00 PM
So today I didn't say anything when I heard someone who'd probably listening taking God's name in vain and I regret it. I'd like to know if there are any writings from saints on how to overcome sins of silence so that I may be more inspired. It is more social anxiety that stops me from rebuking when necessary than wanting human respect.

This is no saint speaking but this is me:

Silence is good. A look would suffice.

For instances such as this, you can simply speak the opposing praise, calmly, but obviously.

Jesus is Lord.

God bless us.

Christ be praised, etc.
