The first page states, Collegeville, IN 1914, that is where my great-great uncle Fr. Rudolph Stoltz went to school, studying to be a priest, he went on to Carthegenia, OH at St. Charles Seminary in 1903 and ordained 1907!
Fr. Nagelisigne(sp) author of "Charitable Souls" he too, was in Collegville, IN in 1893 when Fr. Stoltz was there. Boy, he had it good; learning and holy people to look up to.

C.P.P.S. is for the Confraternity of the Precious Blood Priest Society

This reads so beautiful, BUT nothing compared to 1939's version. So much taken out and just is not the same. I can understand why my great-great uncle fell in love with the mission of His Most Precious Blood. So, sad the confraternity is totally gone! Only retired and dying are residing at St. Charles Seminary. Very sad!
