Why doesn't the Catholic church believe..

Why doesn't the Catholic church believe in the rapture?

It seems to be in a lot of scripture... " one will be taken... One will remain"

" They will be caught up in the clouds"

Then Jesus said to the wicked.. "depart from me you who are cursed."

A lot of people had rapture dreams in February 2020.

Why has the church dismissed the idea ?

The rapture became popular from the Scofield bible printed in the early 1900s.  Catholics don't use protestant bibles.

You seem to have a lot of pride around your dreams and visions.

What we believe by faith is what we have been taught by the Church, not what we think we have read in the Bible.

These scriptures are describing the very end of the world , when the current living Church is caught up with Christ in the air. There is no scripture supporting the pre-tribulation or any other tribulation rapture.  "One will be taken, One remain" well that could be anything- even the vax.]The rapture is just a ploy to make evangelicals lay back and not fight for Christ, because they think they will be taken out before they are affected by the cataclysms-it's the lazy man's "Christianity" and it is a deception
