Title: Where would Jesus be saddest?
Post by: Alex on September 29, 2009, 04:27:37 AM
Where do you think Jesus is sadder? In the tabernacle of a N.O. church where people walk by and don't acknowledge His presence and talk infront of him or in the tabernacle of an schismatic Orthodox church where more respect given in the presence of Jesus?

NOTE: This question is not for the sedevacantists who think that a N.O. church is not a true church and therefore see no difference between it and an Orthodox church.

A ahrd one since most NO people feel and try to act Catholic, though often wrong....orthodox are schismatic, but at least have greater reverance for the Eucahrist and have valid sacrements/orders......I would think equally sad, but for different reasons.....

St. Ignatius Loyola said in the 16th century :

"The white that I see," said Loyola, "I would believe to be black, if the Hierarchical Church were so to rule it."

From what I read, the Jesuits probably defined the doctrine of infalliblity and gave it to Pius IX who then "surprised" his council guests with this doctrine.
