Title: Wedding Prayers
Post by: Cheryl on January 07, 2011, 09:37:20 PM
Asking for prayers for my husband and myself as were getting married in church tomorrow; we did the justice of the peace route the first time.  Please pray that all the details work out and I don't totally lose my mind.  Many thanks!

Thanks one and all for your prayers.  I almost lost my mind and we were running nearly an half an hour behind, but it all came together nicely with your prayers, Father's calming influence and of course, God's help!  I made an altar boy smile when I couldn't get my husband's ring over his knuckle.  And our wedding was an opportunity for a young alter boy to serve at his first wedding.  After mass, I presented my bouquet to Our Lady at her alter.  Afterward Father suggested an Hungarian restaurant for luncheon.  The food was served family style.  It was plentiful and excellent.  The best part of the wedding is that it took place on the anniversary of my parents wedding!  Again, thanks to my CI friends for your prayers and well wishes!  May God bless and keep you and yours. :wine-drinking:
