  • The greatest charity we can perform on Earth:

False.  Greatest charity is to suffer, sacrifice, and pray for the conversion of sinners.  Those in Purgatory are assured of their eternal salvation, a knowledge which when revealed to St. Francis of Assisi immediately put him into a state of ecstasy.

Our Lady at Fatima didn't utter a word about the souls in Purgatory, other than mention in passing someone who had died and would be in Purgatory toward the end of the world.  She asked the children, and us, to make sacrifices for sinners, to save them from Hell.
