The remnant continues through the apostolic line of Bishop Williamson and his successors.

Good morning. !! Have you mistakenly written +W instead of + Lefebvre?
If you don't think +Fellay and Bishop de Galarreta, future consecrators (I presume) on July 1, 2026 , are true bishops, you have a lot of explaining to do...  You might have simply forgotten that Archbishop Marcel LEFEBVRE and + Castro de Mayer both consecrated four bishops in Écöne, Switzerland in 1988. I saw it with my own eyes...it's really true.

St. Robert Bellarmine, who worked so hard to bring the schismatics back to the One , Holy , Catholic, Apostolic Church, -  i.e. UNITY , pray for us.+
The Remnant is more than a matter of validity. It must be a continuation of the Faith.

The Sacraments flow from the Faith, not the Faith from the Sacraments.

It has been my observation that traditionalists care about the glory of God inasmuch as it benefits them personally. The proper order of things is that we seek the glory of God first, and within that context, seek grace for ourselves. We are not to seek grace for ourselves and assume what we find necessarily involves the glory of God.

.

The "sacrifice" in the New Testament is the Mass. And the Mass is certainly offered in traditional Catholic circles with valid holy orders. Do you think it isn't?

My opinion doesn't matter. You, and I, and all of us, are on our own. Their is no binding, final authority now. But any opinion reached must be consistent, square with Scripture, be guided by the testimony of thought of others (like saints and doctors), and be based on fact. The "facts" are the testimony of Scripture, authoritative statements of the Magisterium, the saints and doctors.

As I said: "the issue for each of us to resolve with prayer and petition for guidance of the Holy Ghost. "

Great post, Maria.

I asked a pretty simple yes/no question. Is the Mass being offered today, or is it not?

How about I frame it differently: I'm not your Daddy.

It's your decision where to go, what to do . . . God be with you.
