Again thank you so much. The prayers are so helpful.
I am reading up a lot about nutrition right now.
I am speculating the bad reaction after the antibiotics was either a herxheimer reaction (toxins released by dying bacteria all dying off at once) or some yeast/fungi taking over since all the good bacteria were killed off with the bad. I lean towards the latter explanation.
Still this is a bit grasping at straws but it's all I have. The hypothesis that toxins from pathogens in the gut are causing neurological problems.
So I am trying special diets that would treat gastrointestinal bacteria/yeast infections. High fiber, low carb/sugar, or no carb/sugar, or fasting.. whatever I can tolerate. No carbs, no sugars hypothetically means nothing to feed the pathogens. Also taking probiotics. I suspect the ones I'm trying that work best are because they are slow release. A probiotic before every meal appears to help. So need to look into this more and try out more natural solutions for these possible causes along with dietary changes.
In any case it's a fact that the muscle tremors respond to some degree to eating/diet and my taking probiotics. Perhaps this does not mean it's a gastrointestinal flora issue, but that's the most obvious seeming cause to me and only one I've got to work with until I or one of the doctors figures out something better.
There are some people that believe all sorts of health problems are caused by gut microbiome/flora problems, neurological issues of all kinds, mental disorders, fatigue, allergies, aches and pains, you name it. But it's a very unexplored health area, just like the brain, a whole lot that is just unknown.
I am praying a lot for folks in chronic pain these days. May God have so much, superabundant mercy on them. On the paraplegics, the invalids, the imprisoned, the homeless, the drug addicts, the sick, the alone, the elderly, the lost souls without the faith, upon the worst of the worst like myself, those most in pain and in need and most forgotten.. Lord have mercy, superabundant mercy, incomprehensible, mercy, all the more beyond our imagination. Through Thy Sacrifice, Lord have mercy.
