Odd for a guy surrounded by evangelicals to post this.

I seriously doubt that Trump came up with the "Happy Birthday Mary" idea on his own, I'm willing to bet that he has Catholic staffers who are able to prompt him on things that Catholics would find inspiring.  That said, it's his call as to whether to sign off on it or not, and the fact that he agreed to it speaks volumes.  I don't think he is in the least bit opposed to Catholicism.  Put it this way, try to imagine Kamala hαɾɾιs making posts such as this.

Prayers for his conversion would be in order.
I can't imagine any of the presidents since I've been alive that would have done it, but he did it, so good for him. Seems only prudent to believe he only did it for some type of political reasons rather than sincerity.

I'm not sure I would use the word "only".  It was very possibly a mix of both.  He says he's worried about getting to heaven.  We should all share that "worry".

Life is complicated, and very often mixed motives are at work in people's behavior.  It all gets sorted out eventually.

Yeah, you're right, and I hope he is really worried about getting to heaven - and I mean that in a good way.
