  • The poor folks dressing the table (it is still a table to me) do so with all the reverence of decorating a christmas tree.  It is a mockery and it offends me.

Their are many types of Traditional Catholic's on CI.  I never gave it a
thought that this video would offend anyone, else I would not have
    posted it.
With regrets that this is a mockery and offensive.
I would like to hear from others if they have came to the same
    conclusion as Nickolas.
My humble apology to you Nickolas.

I didn't find it offence.  To me it is not an altar until the Real Presence is present.  In viewing the video, even though they put the tabernacle on the altar  I don't think the Eucharist was present.  Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

  • Looks like they are working with what they have, only God can judge their intentions.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • I feel so sorry for the FSSP (as we can be sure what they're likely about to face).

I like it. It was just a table, but they made it look like an attached altar, and they're among the few left in the conciliar church who I assume are properly consecrated and who hopefully haven't auto-excommunicated themselves. So given that, and that they don't have an attached altar to begin with, I agree that their intent matters a lot. They show reverence to the altar after the tabernacle is set up (taking a knee before the altar, some bowing, very few with their backs to the altar) — very nice to see.

I just hope all their altar boys don't dress in street clothes like that one kid. No idea where that kid came in since the video's speeded up, but I think if you're near the altar and serving, you need to get out of the street clothes and into something consecrated.

If you pause the video at 2:37 she is on the right now facing the camera.  She is wearing a beige cardigan over something low cut and white, and black pants (not sure what they are called as they only come just below the knee) we used to call them peddle pushers.   Previous to  the 2:37 mark she is sitting on the altar step adjusting the cloth on both sides of the altar.  A little later on she is resting her elbows on the altar as she speaks with someone.
