Traditional Third Order Options
« on: February 17, 2016, 02:03:31 PM »
I would like to become a tertiary, but the only traditional religious order that I know of (other than the SSPX) are the Dominicans.  While I have deep respect for this order, I don't think it's the right one for me, I'm thinking the Carmelite order would be a more appropriate choice for me.  However, I can't seem to find a traditional order, does anyone know of a traditional Carmelite order or some other traditional order?  Thanks in advance.

Mrs Johnson

I think I can help you with information on the Traditional Carmelite Third Order as I have been a member for 25 years now.

There are a number of tertiaries from various countries who support the Bishops and priests of the Resistance, and we keep in regular contact despite the distance.

hope to hear more from you,
yours sincerely,

Gail

Hola. Soy de Argentina y tengo conocidos que desean ser terciarios carmelitas descalzos. Necesitaria alguna dirección de correo electrónico de algún terciario de habla hispana para obtener la regla en castellano, como libros de espiritualidad carmelita en castellano. Gracias.
