Dear Monsignors and Fathers

Before someone condemns the use of white vestments, in the Maronite Rite, the color of vestments is not strictly codified as in the Latin rite.  Traditionally, the bishop of a diocese gives directives or guidelines.  In some dioceses, the priest may choose from among a few suitable colors.  As to concelebration at a funeral Mass, I don’t know if it’s something new/modernist.
I didn’t know this Msgr., but  for the repose of his soul.

Yes. Unfortunately, I'm not well versed enough in the Eastern Rites to know for sure, but I think concelebration has been a practice for a very long time in the "Sui juri" eastern Catholic Churches, at least those that use the liturgy of St. Chrysostom, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately, the use of concelebration in the new mass has given it a very bad connotation.
