Wow!  I have loved this image for a long time but never knew about this:

"The icon depicts our Blessed Mother Mary, under the title “Mother of God,” holding the Child Jesus. The Child Jesus contemplates the vision of His future Passion. The anguish He feels is shown by the loss of one of His sandals."

Thank you so much for sharing!!!

The Redemptorists also have a chaplet to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
It is prayed on the Dominican Rosary.  This is a great chaplet to fall asleep praying.
Sign of the Cross
Hail Holy Queen

On the Our Father beads pray:

Mary can help us
Mary will help us
Mary wants to help us
Mary must help us.

On the Hail Mary beads:

Mother of Perpetual help pray for us.
The Memorare

Sorry I was in a hurry when I posted this and forgot to add:  On the crucifix pray the Hail Holy Queen and at the end pray the Memorare
.

If you're ever so inclined to purchase or ask for a picture of Our Mother of Perpetual Help,  the Redemptorists, prior to Vatican II, before distributing them had them touched to the original miraculous picture in Rome.  These old pictures, in several sizes, can be purchased on line, Ebay etc .  Make sure it has the original shiny gold label on the back authenticating that it has been touched to the original.  These pictures are framed and here is a sample with a picture of the label.
