In case anyone else thought it probably doesn't exist any more, it does.  I am so entirely swept on by St. Terese of Avila's The Way of Perfection, to which I have been listening and re listening - all her writings are in audio form at librivox.org with an entirely suitable reader, Ann Boulais who seems to have perfect alignment with St. Terese in the way she reads....   many who read this may already know early in the Life, St. Terese commends The Third Alphabet.  She seems to site it as making a pivotal difference for her at the time she found it as TWOP has ended up being for me perfectly timed.

I see why; if you don't know about the book and are interested in recollection or even in finding out what's been missing all this time from attempts to control the mind - looks like this book which she so loved is available on amazon and probably abebooks.com and other locations.
