Blessed Elzear, count of Arian in Provence, having been long absent from his devout and chaste Delphina, she sent a man to him expressly to inquire after his health, and he made answer: “I am very well, my dear wife; but if you desire to see me, seek me in the wound of the side of our sweet Jesus, for there I dwell, and there you will find me; elsewhere you will seek me in vain.” He was indeed a Christian knight.
