One of my hobbies is copying down prayers (I am not very talented, but it is a labor of love). I write them on cards or pieces of paper. My friend Julian is blind and he wanted me to pray The Chaplet of The Precious Blood with him. So I am writing it out so that I can pray it with him. I love Julian. He is my best friend. When I was a young man I chose a pen name for myself. And that name was Julian Moore. Moore was after my Confirmation patron saint, Saint Thomas More, and I don't know why I choose Julian. I never knew when I came back to the faith my best friend in God would also be named Julian. It is like we are brothers. So I write prayers down in red, blue, and black ink. I write them in English and in Latin. This one is in English. And I write them for children and for adults. The prayer book I brought to Mass last Sunday was for children. This chaplet is definitely for adults, but for adults who do not know Latin. I found the prayer at this website: Nuns for Priests. I hope it is a good prayer. Though I trust that God and my guardian angel would protect us from wicked prayers.

So this is the first page. I have to finish it by Thursday. I plan on visiting him on the Feast of the Assumption and in the evening, my friend Dariusz told me he would drive us to the Holy Sacrifice in Farmingville. God is so good. We can get to Mass for a Holy Day of Obligation instead of staying home. I am giving Julian the good relic of Saint Gemma Galgani I have in a glittering locket shaped like a heart, the True Letter of Our Savior, a picture of Saint Lucy, a calendar, and I am trying to help him get his own apartment. It will be a fun day. He lives in a nursing home but wants to get out and live on his own with a nurse. Perhaps he will regain his eyesight and marry his nurse. That happens all the time.

I plan on posting the other pages of my prayer card in this thread after I finish them. There should be three more pages if I do it properly.

This is the third page, not counting the cover page. One more to go. I wan to have it finished in time for me to bring it to Church tonight for the Asusmption. I have about 5 hours. Pray for me and wish me luck.

He can control his diabetes with fasting, praying and changing his diet.  First no sodas, ice cream, chips.  Eat mostly salads.  Most Nursing home food is garbage.
