Is the idea that a day will never go by without the Mass being offered somewhere in the world really an official teaching of the Church? It strikes me more as an opinion or a pious belief.

"The sacrifice will cease" in Daniel could just mean a law or proclamation. If the US gov't today enacted some federal law that 'no guns are to be sold,' people would still buy and sell guns on the black market. Does this make sense?
