For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

Absolutely identical to my 1924 booklet with the exception of the Spiritual Communion.  Mine reads:

My Jesus, really present in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar, since I cannot now receive Thee under the sacramental veil, I beseech Thee, with a heart full of love and longing, to some spiritually into my soul through the immaculate heart of Thy most holy Mother, an abide with me forever:
    Thou in me,
    And I in Thee,
    In Time and in
    Eternity, In Mary.

I've always loved the last part (in time and in eternity,in Mary) and have included it in my daily prayers as I am then praying for souls both in time and in eternity. (those alive and in purgatory)
"Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered: and them that hate Him flee from before His Holy Face"  Psalm 67:2[/b]

  • You can purchase an exact copy of the 1925 book (44 pages) from the link below.
If you click on the link under details you can see three sample pages.
Much easier than reading on line.

Wonderful and thank you! I’ve been saying that Spiritual Communion prayer for almost 30 years every day.
