Maybe Bush & co. don't care if they have a Democratic congress to deal with -- he won't listen to them anyhow.
He's already secured himself dictatorial powers pretty much.

The last items in his "dictator" collection were added only weeks ago. (Ability to unilaterally declare martial law, use the National Guard, etc.) Before that, he got the power to declare ANYONE an "unlawful enemy combatant" which is a term never heard before -- it is unknown in International Law, the Geneva convention, etc.

I think we're not out of the woods until we establish a Christian (Catholic) order -- a new Christendom. Also, there will be grave danger for all of us until Russia is explicitly consecrated to the I.H.M. -- as Our Lady asked at Fatima.

Now Bush has 2 years to set up his legacy. Iraq is a mess, and everyone knows it. He has to send in more troops, get Iran involved, etc. and accomplish something (for the New American Century) before his term runs out.

We all need to keep praying, and preparing ourselves.
