From the Messale Ambrosiano (Milan: Pia Società S. Paolo, 1954), here is the Mass for the Sunday after the Nativity of Our Lord.

The Ingressa is particularly admirable: it juxtaposes and coalesces beautifully the distinction of the divine and human natures of Our Lord and affirms their hypostatic union: "In His Father doth His divine eternity remain, as inviolate virginity hath not suffered detriment in His Mother; He Who is inaccessible to human sight hath not disdained to assume visible flesh; being born, He hath not relinquished His absolute sovereignty."

The Transitorium is also remarkable: "Ever rejoice, O Virgin Mary, who hast merited such grace: to bring forth from thy womb the Creator of heaven and earth."

The proper Preface praises the advent of Our Lord and His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament: "For verily is it worthy and just, becoming and healthful, that we should ever and everywhere make thanksgiving unto Thee, O holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God: Humbly imploring that Thy Son Jesus Christ, Who did promise unto His faithful that He would be away until the end of the world, may not desert those He hath redeemed in the Mysteries of His corporal presence and not abandon them in the good works of His majesty. Whom the Angels praise, &c."
