  • Before I went to sleep last night, I prayed a few Our Fathers, and as I was doing so, I heard in my head the voices of all those living under my roof currently trying to tempt me away from prayer. My father's voice told me to get to work because prayer is a waste of time, my brother prayed along jokingly and without any proper intent, one of my cousins mocked God, another cousin laughed at me, and all the other people living with me currently (I have many cousins living with me at the present moment) had loud and godless conversations to try to distract me and draw me away from prayer.

It was a strange experience to say the least.

Think that is bad...try being a trad Catholic. Many people will think you odd and live in the Middle Ages.

I have much experience with such things. :)

  • Wait, we DON'T live in the middle ages?  You should see the look my wife and daughters get in a store when they come in wearing skirts and dresses.  You'd think they were bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster!

  • Some of my neighbors at the neighborhood watch meeting thought we were in some cult because we wear dresses and skirts.  :detective: So one of my informed neighbors who was there told me.

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

  • I don't doubt that you could be picking up on the signals in the house for a minute.

Fr. Ripperger has some very fine talks on spiritual warfare which I believe you would enjoy very much, Vladimir.

All you need to do is give him a decade of the Rosary to download a talk.
