In order to inspire the faithful with greater devotion to the great St. Teresa of Jesus, St. Alphonsus de Liguori composed the following considerations for a novena in honor of the Seraphic mistress of prayer, found in an appendix of a very rare edition of The Glories of Mary (Vol. II, trans.
