Prayer to Saint Philomena

Illustrious virgin and martyr, Saint Philomena, behold me prostrate before the throne whereon it has pleased the Most Holy Trinity to set thee. Full of confidence in thy protection, I entreat thee to intercede for me with God. Ah! from the heights of heaven deign to cast a glance upon thy humble client. Spouse of Christ, sustain me in suffering, fortify me in temptation, protect me in the dangers surrounding me, obtain for me the graces necessary to me, and in particular [mention your special intentions]. Above all, assist me at the hour of my death. Amen.

Today, In Spirit of Chartres asked for donations for more advertising of their conference for the Feast of St. Louis on 25 August. So, I said, OK and phoned Judith Sharpe. As soon as our phone call was finished, my sister from Indiana phoned and said that the nodule on her Thyroid was not cancerous. I asked my sister, "you were told when?" She answered, today. I said, do you know whose feast it is? St. Philomena! My sister being new order answered, really! I know of her and I told her for Thanksgiving, do the Living Rosary. Pick a decade of the rosary and add it every day! Thank You, St. Philomena!
