    • Yes, it is a wonderful day -- except this year it lands on Ember Friday -- complete fast and abstinence!

    At least other years it just falls on a PARTIAL abstinence day (Wednesday or Saturday) and some lucky years it lands on the "island" in between the fast days (Thursday)
