Oh glorious apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases--of things despaired of. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (mention your request), and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity. St. Jude Novena

Novena prayers must be said 6 times a day for 9 consecutive days leaving 9 copies in the Church each day.  Prayer will be answered on or before the 9th day & this has never been known to fail.

No offense to dear St. Jude, but are you kidding me?  

The prayers are fine but this chain letter type nonsense "make 81 copies...." is silly.   It's stuff like this that makes Catholics look like fools.

I agree.  I did find that part to be a little strange when I found the prayer.  But i'm sure St. Jude will answer without having to make 81 copies.

Perhaps God is just keeping you humble by not showing you how much success you have.

Don't.  God humbles us all.
