  • Thanks.

I have a St Vincent's Manual, approbation of the Archbishop of Baltimore, from 1860, which seems similar. The old devotional manuals are full of fine prayers, and reminds us of somewhat neglected devotions like the Jesus Psalter, which sustained the persecuted Catholics of England.

  • Thank you for posting this jewel. You have been finding great works lately!
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • A manual for our Holy Faith as it should've been lived. THIS is how Catholicism is. God bless you, Croix, for posting this.
