  • Attached is an English translation of a Sermon preached by the Mellifluous Doctor on Spy Wednesday upon the sacred Passion of Our Lord, found in St. Bernard's Sermons for the Seasons & Principal Festivals of the Year: Translated from the Original Latin by a Priest of Mount Melleray, (Vol. II.; Westminster, MD: The Carroll Press, 1950).

    Well, yes and no.

Yes, some of the scans have been recovered after the Photobucket thing went haywire on me, thanks in part to a third party who has formally taken over the account and is uploading the scans that were salvaged and is allowing me to post them here on CathInfo whilst the he posts them somewhere else.

No, the weekly Dominical and festal Masses and commentaries shan't return for two reasons: 1) work schedule and my health do not allow me to scan as much as before, and the third party entity that took over the account still has much to learn about the scanning process; 2) some of the rare books are going to be sold soon because I am in a certain predicament at the moment.

    Please pray for me.

Save everything this time. The menace of imminent earthquakes and death threats from a certain someone may materialize soon, or the internet might go Margaret Thatcher on me again, so the scans will definitely not be there forever.

There has been considerable seismic activity lately. A friend who is a seismologist expressed his concerns a fortnight ago about 5.0+ earthquakes around the Pacific Ocean in the coming future.

  • And death threat?  Really?

  • Thanks for this, Hobbles.

Prayers for you, as well.

I was wondering what's happened to Hobbles.  What's up??

    How are you, Hobbledehoy???

Any news?  I've noticed a lot of scans are now missing.

Isn't it possible to upload them onto CI for safekeeping?

With all the nonsense that The Cloud has going on, you'd think a few pages
of rare books wouldn't be any problem.

    Maybe it's all about priorities??????????????
