Here is what my friend sent me:
Today at each of the Masses in St. Mary's, Father Rostand, District Superior, was present to give a sermon on the crisis in the Church and our response to it. He gave a summary of what has happened, especially during the last few months since the lifting of the excommunications. Father explained how we are attacked on all fronts, and no longer in the same wise as we were before, but now under the "new" guise of "conforming" since we are supposed to be part of the Church. And of course, he reiterated the Society's position that nothing has changed, and that nothing will be agreed to canonically by the Society until a resolution in reached on the level of the faith.
Then Father released his bombshell.
In the final part of the sermon, he related that Bishop Fellay has recently been at Winona. There the bishop announced that he will soon call for a third Rosary Crusade. This time the Crusade will be for the larger question of the triumph of truth against error. In particular, said Father Rostand, the emphasis of this Rosary Crusade will be for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. To that end, Bishop Fellay will be asking not only for all our Rosaries, but also for all the sacrifices which we can offer to that end.
It seems especially appropriate for it to be called at this particular time of the liturgical year, as well as at this juncture in the ongoing crisis of the Church. Thank God for this, the greatest of all Rosary Crusades. And thank Our Lady for once again showing us that she is willing and present to answer our prayers.
