I finally met with my priest for my first Traditional Catholic Confession. After meeting with the priest for about an hour and ½ at the house, the priest led me and my brother to the church for prayers before our confessions. Two seconds after I got down to kneel.......

Rays from the sun shone through the stained glass window right where I was sitting. It was the only place in the church where rays from the sun were coming in at that time and it only lasted for a little bit.

I am happy for you, God knows you needed that form of grace at that time in your life.

I don't know if enjoy is the word for it but my first traditional confession, I was like this is what a confession is supposed to be like. Not a weird councelling session.

and yes, Trad priests often give sound advice, counsel and do ask questions to get at problems and faults.....

This was my thought exactly!!! During my first confession, I actually had to ask the priest to please repeat himself! I was embarrassed and apologized, explaining the situation of course.
