  • Here is a commentary upon the Mass for the sixth Sunday after Pentecost, taken from the late Cardinal Schuster's The Sacramentary (Liber Sacramentorum): Historical and Liturgical Notes on the Roman Missal (vol. III, trans. Arthur Levelis-Marke; New York: Benziger Brothers, 1927).

  • There have been requests for me to publish the commentaries upon the Masses for Sundays and greater Feasts in separate threads, to make it easier to read up on the Dominical or Festal Mass and thereby making the attendance at the Sacred Mysteries of the Most Holy Altar all the more fruitful.

This is the reason why I am re-posting the recently uploaded commentaries on a new thread. Moreover, the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost has exceeding great significance of a particular relevance to those who are given over to the cultivation of an interior life despite the obstacles and temptations of the present age.
