    The "revised" Holy Week has always been a little weird, especially the Easter Vigil. That felt very disjointedly put together... Loved doing it and the effort put into it, but very disjointed.

    • I have been to one pre 1955 holy week...loved it...much more of a mystical and sacrificial liturgy.
    What's ironic is that it was done in a diocesan parish.
    I wish more traditional places would restore true traditions such as this most important and most holy week of the year.

    • During the Easter Vigil Mass at my old Society chapel, we did the older practice of singing the Benedictus after the Consecration, instead of immediately after. That makes a lot more sense.

    • Anyone knows who can be at the washing of feet? I've heard someone talking about that it can be only washing other priests' feet not laymen, and also done in private not public. This comparison didn't really mention that.
