Let us pray. O God, Who dost manifest Thy mercy and compassion towards all peoples, have mercy upon the Jєωιѕн race, once Thy Chosen People. Thou didst select them alone out of all the nations of the world to be the custodians of Thy sacred teachings. From them Thou didst raise up Prophets and Patriarchs to announce the coming of the Redeemer. Thou didst will that Thine only Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior, should be a Jєω according to the flesh, born of a Jєωιѕн maiden in the Land of Promise. Listen to the prayers we offer Thee today for the conversion of the Jєωιѕн people. Grant that they may come safely to a knowledge and love of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah foretold by their Prophets, and that they may walk with us in the way of salvation. Amen.
Does anyone know where I can find traditional prayers for the conversion of Jєωs? There is the one from the Good Friday liturgy and I found this one online:Why this?
Also, is there a Saint who is the Patron of conversions of Jєωs? I would have guessed that it is St. Vincent Ferrer since he is famous for many conversions but I cannot find anything to say that he is. Same with St. Paul of Tarsus.
Why this? One does not pray for forced conversions but for sincere conversions of the heart.
Have you learned nothing from history??
Conversion got us into the mess we are in.
Read The Plot Against The Church by Pinay. Free and online.
Forced conversions backfired time and again. It's inviting traitors into your camp.
Segregation.
Jayne, we always dedicate the fifth decade of our Rosary to the conversion of the Jєωs.Thank you very much for your prayers.
Do you know of the conversion of Alphonse Ratisbonne.

In this beautiful article you read that there was a religious congregation founded by him to convert the Jєωs. Tragically it seems the sisters have gone down the plug hole and no longer have that mission, apparently because the Jєωs suffered too much in WW2 to bother them with questions of conversion.
I pray for the conversion of the Jєωs every night. I think it must happen with the Consecration of Russia.Russia is More Christian than the West. And was prior to and post Bolshevik Revolution.
But we are also to note what Jesus said in the Apocalypse. Revelation 3:9
"Beware those who call themselves Jєωs but are not".
This may be a reference to the Khazarians who call themselves Jєωs. ( maybe they will never convert.)
I don't know.
One does not pray for forced conversions but for sincere conversions of the heart. We are at war with them.....I will not pray for them. They have literally destroyed and are destroying our world.
It is rather frustrating to me that praying for the conversion of Jєωs gets discussed so little among trads. It's not like people influenced by the Novus Ordo are going to do it. Most of them do not even seem to understand that it is necessary for salvation. The heresy that Jєωs can be saved by being good Jєωs is widespread.
I see post after post among trads about how evil Jєωs are. While I do not dispute there is usually a good basis for these claims, I wish that some part of the time and energy put into these posts went into praying for conversions and promoting such prayers.
I was very encouraged and thankful to see Nadir's post about praying for conversions. Perhaps others are doing similar things and not mentioning it.
Both my parents died earlier this year. They were both Jєωs and I am left with no real hope for them. I see the same fate awaiting my siblings and cousins. I have understood that it is important to pray for conversion of Jєωs since I first started learning about traditional Catholcism but now it has gotten personal and urgent.
We are at war with them.....I will not pray for them. They have literally destroyed and are destroying our world.Don't you think that these words of Our Lord apply?
Many shall come from the East and West and sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of Heaven, but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the exterior darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.I am not quite sure what point you are making with any of these quotes, but I'll just ask about this one. Are you saying that it is better for Jєωs to go to hell than to convert and find salvation?
~ St. Matthew viii.11-12
Don't you think that these words of Our Lord apply? We are at war. It is as it was in Europe 1300 years ago when they were financing Muslim war parties into Europe, in addition to all of the other subversion and social corrosion they are causing...[43] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=43-#x) You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thy enemy. [44] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=44-#x) But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you: [45] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=45-#x) That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust. [46] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=46-#x) For if you love them that love you, what reward shall you have? do not even the publicans this? [47] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=47-#x) And if you salute your brethren only, what do you more? do not also the heathens this? [48] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=47&ch=5&l=48-#x) Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.
I am not quite sure what point you are making with any of these quotes, but I'll just ask about this one. Are you saying that it is better for Jєωs to go to hell than to convert and find salvation?

I for one am almost afraid to see his answer.
Jesus Christ died for all, even the stubborn Jєωs and He chooses to come from that nation. He forgave them from the cross, and yes, they cursed themselves as a nation. Yet, it is said that God will call them back near the end of the world, that is the Will of God and it will happen.
jaynek - being that your family members are Jєωs, it is understandable that you seek out a traditional prayer for conversion of the Jєωs. However, you are likely to be disappointed. You do not know what is required of a Jєωιѕн conversion.Thank you for your advice. You have given me something to think about. I have been planning to take a break from forums over Advent and this will be a good opportunity to consider what you have written.
Jayne, here are some saints who will be of interest because of a strong connection with the conversion of the Jєωs.Thank you very much for these. I had heard of them, but only knew about the connection with Jєωs in the case of St. Vincent. This is very helpful.
Could someone on this forum point me to an article, a book or simply explain to me the difference between the biblical Jєωs (i.e. Hebrews or Children of Israel) and the Jєωs of today? In my humble opinion, these days, few to none of the Jєωs come directly from the line of Abraham.(https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4329/36149424496_b1609d2758.jpg)
I admit that most of my confusion comes from the fact that I spent most of my adult life in the conciliar sect and there the Jєωs were referred to as our "Older/ Elder Brothers in Faith" and there is no need to pray for their conversion (forget about the conversion of heart, that is not even an option) because they have their own path to salvation (courtesy of John Paul II's "teachings").Exactly. That is just what I was talking about. I find it maddening. :cussing:
