  • Here is the Mass for the second Sunday after Epiphany, taken from The Saint Andrew Daily Missal with Vespers for Sundays and Feasts by Dom Gaspar Lefebvre, O.S.B., of the Abbey of St- André (Bruges, Belgium: Liturgical Apostolate of the Abbey of St-André, 1956).

  • From the great work of Rev. Fr. Thomas Livius The Blessed Virgin Mary in the Fathers of the First Six Centuries (London: Burns & Oates, Ltd., 1893) here are some commentaries from the Fathers of the Church upon the portion of the sacred Gospel according to St. John that constitutes the Gospel lesson of the Mass for the second Sunday after the Epiphany.

Note how the learned and devout Redemptorist apologist deals with a very problematic passage of St. John Chrysostom which the Anglican heretics pf his age had abused as a means to attack the dignity of Our Lady.
