    Cor Jesu Sacratissimum, miserere nobis.

Does Bastille day fall every year around the time of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus?  (The other way around doesn't sound right.)

This King, Louis XVI, is the same one whose execution was consequent to his refusal to put the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the French flag and to publicly consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Do you know why he refused to do those two things?  There must have been some compelling reasons!  Because it cost him his life!

Bastille Day is always July 14th.  The Feast of the Sacred Heart is always on the Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi, which in turn is based on Easter.  Next year the Feast of the Sacred Heart will be on June 11th.  My decision to post Saint Margaret Mary with The Sacred Heart was an after thought based on the connection between the two.  The King did make the consecration, but it was too late--after he had abdicated, I believe.  Correct me out there if I am wrong.

That's scary because we see what happens when "too late" is the fact.

Our Lady or Lord said that Russia will be consecrated "late." If what transpired in France is any indication, we will see even greater devastation in the nations before Heaven's command is obeyed.

  • It's that time again.  The Revolution lives on:  In the world and in the Church.  Reparation needs to be done.

  • Beautiful!  Let us remember this sobering day with much prayer, reparation, and reflection.

"Bishop of Rome" Francis' public display of gratitude for the gift of a communist crucifix will not save him from the enemies of our Holy Faith (the perfect symbol for his obvious defection/apostasy).  Let him take heed!

Happy Feast of St. Bonaventure, Doctor of the Church!
