Thinking of this member.  Still no word from him?  I still fear the worst.

Me too. I think he is probably dead or incapacitated. He practically spent all day on this forum when he was active, but not a single post since he stopped showing up, about two years ago. There was another thread about him where someone who lived in the area tried to track him down because his real email address apparently has his real name, so the person tried to look him up in the phone book, but couldn't find him. I forget the details.

I think they did look through obituaries and death notices for his name, but apparently his name wasn't there, so maybe that's something positive.

I liked him too. Didn’t he get annoyed at some point when someone gave him a downvote for no apparent reason? I wonder if he just took a long break.

I might remember that, but I think it was long before he stopped posting.

As I recall, it was very abrupt. He was starting half a dozen threads every day for most of the time he was here, and then one day all activity on his account abruptly stopped entirely.
