Actually, they are trying to correct the horendous English translation so it matches what is already official in the Latin text. Most other languages don't have the translation problems that the English version ended up with.
If you want to believe its a trick, that's up to you.
I don't actually think it is a conscious conspiracy to do as I wrote above. But the Novus Ordo is, by its very nature, a danger to souls. The
only reason the Vatican decreed the re-translation for the English compositions (the current texts don't even qualify as translations) is because of complaints from the neo-conservatives and neo-traditional Catholics still wading in the Novus Ordo soup.
The fact that the words of consecration were "mis-translated" in virtually every language on earth, however, is telling.
I've honestly not heard that other translations are being "corrected". And, frankly, I have to take your word that "most other languages don't have the translation problems" that are in the English. It seems that the Conciliar Church has crashed all over the world and not just in English language nations. Since the vast majority of Catholics main contact with the Church is the weekly celebration of the Mass, clearly there was something about what the populace was hearing.
