I recently heard a priest mention in a his sermon that the Father's of the Church drew parallels between the the 6th commandment, the 6th beatitude(blessed are the clean of heart), and the 6th day of creation (Be fruitful and multiply). Does anyone have anything from the Fathers of the Church, Doctors, saints, and/or theologians on this? I found this very interesting when I heard it.
I recant many opinions on the crisis in the Church and moral theology that I have espoused on here from at least 2019-2021 don't take my postings from that time as well as 2022 possibly too seriously.

Never thought of that before, but it is very interesting.

I wouldn't, however, jump to any conclusions about the three sixes, not that you did, just stating the fact.  There is, quite obviously, nothing sinful or evil about the Sixth commandment, the sixth beatitude, or the sixth day of creation.

    May just be a coincidence.
