Principles on material cooperation?
« on: June 04, 2022, 11:47:27 PM »
I am curious about how material/formal cooperation as an idea developed and what moral theology in general has to say about it. Is material cooperation in general best avoided? I have taken to what many would consider an extreme and I now don't use debit/credit cards nor paypal since these companies support sodomy and help pay for abortions by allowing planned parenthood to use them for payment/donations. I personally don't think it is sinful to use these companies but I just avoid them now cause of worries and maybe aversion to them I have engrained in my mind towards these liberal companies.

It is impossible to avoid all material cooperation. Most companies are evil in some way or another, and very few people nowadays can sustain themselves off their own land. Try to support local small businesses when you can as they're less likely to be evil on a grand scale, but even they will very likely be non Catholic and pro sodomy/abortion ect. Avoiding the worst offenders is good, but as you said, not required. We don't do business with Amazon or Disney at this point. Maybe your church has a bulletin for parishioners that own local business? Ours does. We are planning to get beef from one of them when we can.

I hope you had better luck than we did.

No, this sort of thing is not sinful. I would recommend not worrying about it, because it'll just drive you crazy and make you give up on religion as a whole. The devil loves scruples because they make it impossible for people to love God or practice religion.

Buying used defeats ZOG with each purchase. Buy used clothes ALWAYS. Use Craiglist and FB marketplace. For food use WinCo, Cash and Carry etc... These places are outlets and thus have less political propaganda. Try to stockpile something useful you can trade.

My family prays for you nightly Cryptinox, pray for patience, perseverance and peace to help with scruples . If you haven't read "Light and Peace" by Padre Quadrupani ( imprim 17xx so it is orthodox) you need to do so because it will help you. A lot of solid trad priests will recommend this. You should also read "Christian Patience" by +Ullathorne, I can tell by your posts these two books are what you need.
