Today, the eve of the first (and arguably more important) of the said trials, please remember that in the Livre d'or des Âmes du Purgatoire, Fr. Benoit recounts that a priest was once sent to a dying irreligious man. Upon being rejected by the man, the priest decided that he would abstain from his afternoon coffee as a small sacrifice for the impenitent sinner. Shortly after, the man called for the priest to hear his confession.
So, if today and tomorrow morning anyone can abstain from some coffee for my intentions, please feel free to do so!
And Thank You.
