Title: Prayers Please for my Padre

he has had back trouble for yrs and had surgery a few yrs back.he is laid up again and cannot move much.he is aged 39. He was the one that ended altar girls, communion in hte hand, standing for communion and placed the altar ad oreintm. Also, against a (at the time) liberal V2 enthusaist Bishop, go the TLM once a week in our parish (and daily Masses,etc. now). he even had a protest to Rome drafted up if bishop tried to yank it from us, which he threatened several times. the rosary, freq confession and many,many Trad practices he brought back.

Likely, will need back surgery again and is in agony.....

side story, he said after initiating a return to Trad, esp the TLM, he has had increased obstacles and attacks....me and he thinks  :devil2: does not like the strong parish we have...

Thankfully, we have a few people that can do the TLM while he is laid up....just a few yrs ago, it would have been almost impossible to have someone to it....
