My uncle ( my mother's only brother) has recently discovered a mass of tissue growing from the back of his tongue down his throat. He is a cigar smoker. He goes for a biopsy on Wednesday. Please pray that, if malignant (and it probably is), that his prognosis is positive. My mother, who already suffers a host of mental issues, is not handling this well. Please pray for her as well.

My Uncle does, indeed, have throat cancer. He called today to let me know. Please pray for his health, but most importantly for his soul. He is not a Catholic and he has long been floating around in the abyss of secularism.

I am sorry I didn't reply earlier. My uncle is not a Catholic, he is a Southern Baptist. So please also pray for his conversion.

I will. I can relate to you, my dad's side of the family is all Baptist, and pretty much all of them are anti-Catholic. Your uncle doesn't sound like this, fortunetly.

I just wanted to update and say thanks to everyone who has offered prayers for my uncle. He called today to tell my mother the news of his CAT scan. He has stage 4 cancer. It is a very sad and difficult time for our family. Thank you again....
